This electronic publication copyright © 2017 LatterDayTruth.org; All Rights Reserved. The author states, "READER, before deciding there is no justification for publishing a tract such as the title of this one suggests, will you not pause long enough to ask yourself, Is it possible that 'Errors and inconsistencies' do really exist in the 'dominant church in Utah,' respecting a matter of such vital importance as THE PRESIDENCY? The revelations of God through Joseph the Seer do not ascribe, not even to men of the church, papal infallibility, and invite an affirmative answer to this question; ''Yes; it is possible.' 'But there is a possibility that man may fall from grace and depart from the living God.'-Doc. and Cov. 17:6. Utah edition, section 20. Have the men of the Utah church 'departed from the living God'? Have they 'fallen from grace'?"
This electronic publication copyright © 2019 LatterDayTruth.org; All Rights Reserved. The author states, "It is only necessary to observe that the word reorganized expresses a condition, and is made to apply to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and not to some other church; hence another church is not implied, but the same one after having been reorganized. In this tract we shall not enter into a detailed discussion of the technical points of difference between the two churches, the Reorganization and the organization in Utah. The work in hand does not demand this of us."

Joseph Smith III states, "That, as the laws of God, found in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and the later revelations to the church, were given to constitute the rules of both faith and practice, upon which the church was to be built and perpetuated, as a consequence, God would not give to the church through Joseph Smith any commandment or rule of faith and practice which would conflict with the laws he had already given; or that would require the performance of any act by which those laws would be disregarded or broken."

Do the revelations of God through Joseph the Seer make ample provision for a reorganization of the church? 2. Does rejection of the first organization imply rejection of either the membership or priesthood of all the individuals composing that body? 3. Is the Utah church itself a reorganization? 4. Is the idea of reorganization in conflict with Daniel 2: 44?
This electronic publication copyright © 2017 LatterDayTruth.org; All Rights Reserved.Tract by I. M. Smith. He states, "the principle it teaches is applicable to every revelation that God has ever given to man, whether the revelation be long or short, whether it contains ten words or ten thousand words. Man has no right to add to nor take from anything that God has given-has no right to do so now, never did have the right to do so, and never will have. You will remember the text says: 'If any man shall add to,' or 'take from,' etc., nothing said about what God proposes to do in the premises; there is nothing said about whether he will give more revelations, or whether he will withhold them. Mind you, he places this restriction upon man, and leaves himself free to do as seemeth him good."

Elder Phillips states, "While divers creeds and doctrines of men are being preached throughout the world, honest-hearted men and women everywhere are longing, and their souls yearning, for the truth as Jesus and his disciples taught it; and while they pant for a refreshing drink from the fountain of the 'water of life' at which disciples of olden time were so freely filled, their eager hearts are again and again disappointed by the mirage - seemingly so real - which the delusive theories of men present before them. To such this message is addressed with confidence, nay, with certainty, that if they will step out into the sunlight of God's love by obeying the gospel as taught by those whom he has sent to proclaim it, as found in his word, their hungry souls will be fed, and their drooping spirits refreshed by that heavenly power which the followers of Christ in ancient time enjoyed."
