Ale is a phonetic spelling of the Hebrew sounding of the name Eli, shortening of the name Elijah or Elias, which means my God-See Matt. 27, 46 and 47."

The author states, " As this pamphlet is addressed to Latter Day Saints, no attempt will be here made to prove the need for the community organization known by them as the redemption of Zion. D. & C., Sec. 100-4-5-6. I am not complaining of this humiliation; for it is humiliation in the view of worldly men only."

The author references a sermon by the Presiding Bishop of the RLDS Church in the Saints' Herald September 2, 1908, which he disagrees with. The author states, "The Lord having definitely directed us to wait until after Zion's redemption, by what right does the Bishop now proceed to give out stewardships connected with 'the commandments concerning Zion?' Let us further consider consecration and stewardships."

Discusses the financial law, its requirements and how to comply as set for by the Lamoni, Iowa Stake Bishopric. Also discusses the law of one tenth, care for the poor and complete consecration.

This is a revised version of the 1864 pamphlet. It was revised by Joseph Smith, III and W. W. Blair. And that there may be created in us, in each one of us a universe of discourse, which shall be truly in harmony with the Spirit, and the mind, and the will of our Heavenly Father."

The author states, "One of the most prolific sources of misunderstanding in regard to religion is the refusal to acknowledge that there has been a universal departure from the original gospel as taught by Christ. Brother Curtis states, "In the year 60 A. D. the Apostle Peter made a statement concerning priesthood. He said: 'Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.'-1 Peter 2:5. Again in the ninth verse he says: 'But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.' Some individuals have claimed that there was no priesthood after Christ, but the statement of the Apostle Peter gives us to understand that the authority of the priesthood was still in the church at the time he wrote his epistle, which is dated A. D. 60."
